The new ES200U and EX200U from Mitsubishi Electric are high-performance digital projectors that, besides in business and education, are also ready to satisfy home cinema needs. In particular, the operating noise of just 29 dB in Low Mode ensures undisturbed viewing pleasure for film lovers. This DLP projectors delivers a 2000:1 contrast ratio (1250:1 for EX200U) with a high light output of 2400 ANSI lumens (2300 for EX200U). Its SVGA resolution (XGA for EX200U) and its many functions for the optimisation of presentation display such as Brilliant Colour™ enable it to generate brilliant, high contrast images. And adjustment of the image for walls of different colours is completely automatic with the Wall Screen function. Even though it’s equipped with so many features, however, the ES200U and EX200U are always convenient and easily portable thanks to its low weight of just 2.4 kilograms.

3-D home cinema for beginners

EW270U is the designation for the new DLP projector that opens the door to 3-D technology for home cinema fans. And this powerful projector from Mitsubishi Electric is extremely well equipped for professional applications as well. Its WXGA (1280x800) resolution and the outstanding image optimisation features set new standards in this category. The unit’s functions range from Wall Screen and Brilliant Colour™ to reproduction of 3-D content; while the 2000:1 contrast ratio and high light output of 2600 ANSI lumens protect the image from virtually every imaginable external influence. Noise emissions of 29 dB in Low Mode underline the manufacturer’s expertise in the development of low-noise projectors.

Password protection, a metallic anti-theft security anchor and the Instant Shut Down function are some of the specialised features that make the EW270U suitable for professional use. In this context, it is equally well adapted for operation in both mobile applications and permanent installations. Large projection area even in limited space: the EW230U-ST

The business projector EW230U-ST, which Mitsubishi Electric has now introduced to the market, is specially designed for extremely short projection distances. The new model operates at a distance of only 63 cm, producing clear, sharp presentations on a projection surface with an image diagonal of over 150 cm. This corresponds to a projection ratio of approx. 0.5:1. A further advantage: thanks to the extremely short path of the light beam, which is made possible by the special lens, no more disturbing shadows of the presenter now appear. Mounted on the ceiling, namely, the image is projected over the head of the presenter, so to speak. The use of the EW230U-ST – incidentally it is a Wide XGA (1280x800) projector also designed for wide image formats - thus ensures that even in the smallest rooms or with limited space; there is no need to forego impressive presentations.

The EW230U-ST is equipped with Brilliant ColourTM technology, operates with a brightness of 2500 ANSI lumen (with a contrast ratio of 2000:1) and is 3D-ready. The handy device weighs only 2.8 kg is networkable and is, therefore, ideally suited to mobile applications in different rooms. Password protection and an anti-theft device provide safety on the spot.

The 'short-throw projector' can be comfortably operated by remote control and can be set up and dismantled equally quickly: for example, the adaptation to different wall colours can be effected effortlessly via the practical wall-screen function and the integrated instant shut-down function facilitates immediate switching off. The direct access to the lamp from above is also convenient and, with a lamp life of 4000 hours in low mode, is only rarely necessary. In addition, the extremely quiet ventilator with an operating noise of only 29 dB is designed for the special acoustics conditions in small rooms.
