Intelligence - Advanced Smart Lamps and Smart colour wheels communicate with the optical engines to maintain a uniform image, even when lamps are changed, using Mitsubishi's original colour space control to achieve consistent colour blending across the display wall. The image is balanced over the surface of each cube as well, thanks to the Digital Gradation Circuit which provides even illumination from edge to edge.

Flexibility - Choose from 3 screen sizes, 100% front access or rear access (80" rear only), 4 optical engines with 1400 x 1050 or 1024 x 768 resolution, 2 screen types and 4 input cards. The same lenses, cabinets and screens are used for all types of optical engine.

Internal Processing - Without any external processor, 4 windows from Video or DVI / VGA sources can be shown on each cube and 2 sources displayed across the display wall (6 inputs per cube are available if there is no 'desktop' image). Large windows can be distributed by daisy-chain card or by signal distribution. The graphical user interface of the D-Wall software suite controls the windows and wall layout.

Auto Balancing - An autonomous tuning system ensure that colour and brightness uniformity is maintained across the display wall with no external computer involved. The auto-tuning system has three colour sensors built-in to each display which continually monitor colour and brightness levels and communicate with adjacent displays to balance the overall image.

Easy set-up - Seventy Series cubes feature an auto-geometry system that uses a camera and machine-vision software to automate the motorised 6 axis adjustment. This revolutionary software system greatly reduces the amount of time and skill required to align the optical engines. Additional motorised adjusters simplify the alignent of mirrors and screens, which is especially useful with front access models.

Durability - The advanced Smart colour wheel and fans have a 10 year life (actually 100 000 hours MTBF which is over 11 years).

Redundancy - The Seventy Series lamp changer is even faster - it takes 'Just a Second' for a planned lamp swap - as a lamp reaches end of life or during routine swapping. Each lamp has it's own power circuit to provide further redundancy.  Signal redundancy is also assured - the display can switch to an alternative signal if 'no input' is detected.
